Dr. Robyn E. Wilson

CEO, Praxis Management Consulting

Dr. Robyn Wilson is the CEO of Praxis Management Consulting and has more than 35 years of experience in the corporate, university and entrepreneurial worlds. With a strong academic background in Mathematics, IT / IS and Engineering, and a decade of hands-on management, Robyn has spent over twenty years in Asia (arriving in ‘96) working extensively with senior leaders, their teams and organisations, across most industries, cultures, countries, organisation type and with all facing very different types of challenges as they manage and grow their respective organisations.
Prior to coming to Singapore (from Australia) to study for a PhD at the National University of Singapore, Robyn led and managed significant change involving moving an IT environment from campus mainframe computing to a highly complex distributed multi-platform computing infrastructure (back in late 80s, early 90s in the most remote capital city in the world).
After completing her PhD, Robyn founded Praxis Management Consulting in Singapore in 2001. Praxis provides facilitated strategy and leadership-related services to senior leaders and teams in the greater Asia Region (covering Japan, Australia and the Middle East and everything in-between). In addition, Robyn has facilitated and coached with world-leading entities like IMD, Duke CE, CCL and Roffey Park, and taught in the MBA programme for Macquarie Graduate School of Management for many years (delivering courses in Singapore, Sydney and Hong Kong). She is also found mentoring young leaders across the SE Asia Region in various formats.
Robyn’s qualifications include a PhD from the National University of Singapore (IT Infrastructure, Service Quality and User Differences), a Masters of Engineering and a Post-Graduate Diploma from University of Western Australia, a Graduate Diploma in Computing from Curtin University and a BSc from University of Queensland (Mathematics and Statistics). She is also certified in many organisational, team and personal development tools.
